Invisalign
Braces Vs Invisalign

Invisalign® treatment is a modern approach that employs advanced 3D computer imaging in the development of a treatment plan that starts from the current position of the teeth to the desired position of the teeth in the most efficient way possible to deliver a sequence of aligners. The treatment involves the use of a series of custom-made aligners to gradually move the teeth to the desired position and are usually worn for about two weeks before changing to the next in the sequence with the hope of getting that beautiful smile you have always desired.
Made from transparent and non-toxic medical plastic, these aligners are almost undetectable when worn in the mouth, they are similar to the clear tooth whitening trays but are designed to move the teeth in the best way possible and are often referred to as ‘contact lenses for the teeth’ by some dental practitioners.
In a similar manner to conventional brackets and archwires, Invisalign® aligners also exerts controlled forces in order to control the movement of the teeth; what makes it unique is its capacity to regulate the amount of force as well as the duration of application of the forces. In each phase of the process, only certain teeth are permitted to move and these movements have been predetermined based on your individual orthodontic plan in order to provide a system that can apply the right amount of force to help you achieve the smile you have always wanted.
Sedation Dentistry
Releaving Anxiety

How Sedation Dentistry Works
If you get nervous at the thought of going to the dentist, then sedation dentistry could be just what you need to help you get the treatment you require in a less stressful and painful way. It may be that you have not been to the dentist for years, even avoiding the chair at all costs, yet you still wish for that beautiful smile.
Relaxation is where sedation dentistry comes in. This means that whether you choose oral or IV sedation or even nitrous oxide, you will be conscious but in a very relaxed state almost like being in a dream. This way you’ll be able to speak to your dentist and the discomfort and anxiety that are usually associated with the visit will be a thing of the past, which in turn will change the whole process for the better.
